Installing - Registration Question

I received a temporary serial number to install ArchiCAD 11 US American for students. I was unable to install the software because the Next button was grayed out every time I entered the SN, no matter whether I copy/pasted or typed it in. I had no option but to cancel each time. Meanwhile I found the BIM Experience Kit software on the site which also had a free trial. I applied for a SN and downloaded this package. This SN worked fine and I've been using the program now for about 2.5 weeks. Meanwhile I went to the website and filled out the form to receive the SN for the 1 year student license, entering the first and possibly faulty SN that was received in the first request into the form. I only have 11 days left on my trial version and I'm anxious to continue using the program.

I have two concerns.
1) How long does it take the company to verify my student status? (I'm out of school for the summer but plan to go back next fall. Will the fact that I'm not currently enrolled in classes disqualify me? I will not graduate until Dec. 2008)
2) Since I've installed the software using the SN from the BIM Experience Kit will I be able to remove that and reinstall using the 1-year license SN? Will the file I've created be accessible from either version?

Is there a number or email address that can be used to get assistance with this?
