License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

evening all.. some questions

Hiya, sorry to keep asking questions, but my teachers no crap all about archicad, so this forum is my mentor! lol...

here goes:

I have a basement section - I want to show this with a 3d section, is it best to create a basement using a series of slabs, or to use the mesh tool? - Does anyone have any good tutorials for the mesh tool? I am struggling to make the basement appear to sit in the landscape.

Our task for the week is to copy 2d plans and sections to create 3d CAD models, I am the only one using archicad. Then we have to present it.

It seems that one of the sections shows a window that "wraps" from the wall onto the roof continously. How do I insert windows into the roof that "join" onto the wall windows?

I will scan the plans and sections, then post them on here, to assist my queries.

Here are some photographs of the building i have to model:

Check the Tips and Trick section for Mesh-related stuff.
Also http://www.archicadwiki.com is worth looking into.
