AC 10: fills appear solid on layouts..

hi,

good day. im having problem with the fills (cut, cover and drafting) on the layout book (AC 10). The fills appear solid (supposed to have the desired fill type)...

i've tried, changing "black and white" to "colors defined by pen set". It works somehow on another case.

i've tried also using either Drafting, Cover and Cut fills, again somehow it works but not this time.

May i know what seemed to be missing or what i did not do? TY

Document -> Set Model View -> Model View Options. The bottom panel, 'Options for fills and zones'. Based on your question, you have some or all of the fills set to 'Solid'. You should probably use 'As in Settings'.

The model view options are saved with views. Model View Combinations are very helpful in assigning Options to views; just choose the combination in the view settings.

You might want to check the pen settings on your layout. You might have the background fill set to black instead of white.

I just had a situation where I imported some fills from an AutoCAD drawing, and all were solid black even though settings looked correct. Selecting a fill and clicking on one of the fill orientation buttons cleared it up instantly, though. (Why, I don't know.) You might want try it.
