Wanted to start a list of AC11 Little improvements......which are not announced:

First Selection outline now is shown in dots
Second Selection outline is shown in Dot Dash Dot

Nice, yet still short cut C for changing of the method is still not implemented, must be very hard to code it in!

If you use Solid Operations instead of the Trim to Roof, then Hotlink your model into another project, the Solid Operations will get lost! I've run into this with AC 10 and now 11. Walls that I used an SO to fit under a roof suddenly protrude through the roof when hotlinked, but not in the original model. Using Trim to Roof has been the only fix I could find, though I like using SO much better.

Check the Layer intersection #s in the file where you hotlinked it. If are the same SEO will not work. With different #s it schould work.

When Hotlinking the SEO's will only carry over to the host file if both Target and Operators are on the same story.

This is workable if you are using hidden elements which have not purpose other than to act as SEO's (they can live on any story you want) but renders using visible model elements on differing stories as SEOs useless.

You can always just redo the SEO's in the host file once your Hotlinks are there (it will remember them when your Hotlink updates) but this is a pain. One project team in our office found this out a while back the hard way - they had done all their concrete profiling on a large job with SEOs and then had to redo them when they linked into the Master.

GS really should do something to fix this. SEO's need to be maintained through Hotlinks regardless of the stories that Operator and Target are on.

I think you'll find it works fine in AC11.

Could someone verify that the D2 Segmented will NOT accept CUSTOM DOOR PANELS? The feature is there, but if you choose CUSTOM, the place to type in the panel name disappears. If I type it in when "custom" is not selected then select custom, it does not find the panel (presumably, the typed in name goes away)...

Anyway, I just want to verify...

Thanks
Duane

Great news Link - and only 3 releases later! Our copies of 11 arrived last week but haven't had a chance to fire it up yet.

I am experiencing the same problem...

I am not an Owner (and therefor user) of AS11 ...yet... but my hunch is that you must hotlink all stories for the SEO to remain intact. The Link All Stories seems to be an ALL or NOTHING. This would not be the best practice for me. I am often Linking maybe 3 of the 5 stories only, so the "old" AC10 method of business seems to be the same. Publish the Module files individually with publisher and update in Master file. Actually not a big deal.
