Oh, and I agree: The stair tool in particular is woefully inadequate and out of date.

From a productivity point of view, the search/filter function for favourites in the Toolbox for each element type is a really big step forward. It might not stand out in the promotional material, but when you start using it you'll understand. 😉
Having favourites was always nice, but when they were simply in a big long list it was pretty bewildering, particularly for new users. Now you can click on the Door Tool for example, then just start typing the name of the favourite you're after and the list quickly condenses as the dynamic filter refines the list as you type. So if you office standard contains 100 Door Type Favourites, but you're specifically after a '900mm wide 30 minute fire rated door with a vision panel' from the office standard, you would just start typing '900 30 fire vision' in the Door Tool and you would find it very quickly.

I told you before that GS is corporation oriented firm and user wish forum is a joke...yeah, it really is !

As i love SF movies i see all GS subscribers as a cows which have been milked every year. GS gave them forums to write wishes and no one from GS give a damm about it...it's good job because you take milk and give nothing or very little.Classic Matrix pattern. As long as cows are milked and blinded by the word BIM in beautiful concept videos nothing will change.

I see this update just like when old woman do plastic surgery...Under fake look its the same body...

GS is acting like they are on some other planet...milking architects from planet earth

At the end, what to say...opinion is just like ass, everybody has it

No, it is still part of the photo rendering settings palette so it is the same as previous versions.

It's an extra step, but opening the IFC in a separate ArchiCAD session and then hot-linking that file has been successful.

Been doing that for ...like 7-10 years...don't even remember. Right now I'm dealing with 6 different discipline models and they are updated each monday. Would prefer direct linking of IFC....
We also use Solibri of course but prefer to hotlink the models.
