Actions: "Object Parameter Value"

At the end of the Actions tab of the Keyboard Shortcuts box, we see "Object Parameter Value". The default keystroke is 'N'.

Having typed N everywhere I can think of with no visible effect, I have to ask what this action is.

When you use the pet palette to move an editable hotspot within a library part "N" highlights the value of the associated parameter so you can enter it numerically.
