Align in ArchiCAD

Can I get two elements to simply align together. For example in Revit I just click on 2 elements and click align and it just aligns them beautifully, regardless of the angle. IS there such a command in ArchiCAD? Or can I download it as an add on. Also can I get the whole interface to be coherent, instead of floating windows i.e.
Thanks!

Besides trim and adjust which have alignment functions there is also an arrange command which i believe will align things as well as space them equally etc, though I haven't had much occasion to use it so I don't recall exactly.

In Windows you can dock the palettes and (as usual) maximize, float or minimize the views.

On Mac you can snap the palettes together. The view windows will always float but the green button will enlarge a view to fit the available space within the palette arrangement.

Of course there are more subtleties to all of this...

These are the limit of our align tools.
Special align gives you what you want, i think.

Also - you can create a shortcut for any of them.

So they actually call it align. Shows how much I've used it. Glad you caught it. I was too lazy to open ArchiCAD to check.

Or the apology tool which displays a dialog that says "We're sorry that feature is still on the wish list."

I think that they have made a vice-president Graphisoft's "Apology Tool."
