License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Martin,

Please read the entire press release quote: "all 26 local versions ... by the end of Q3". As noted earlier in this and in other threads: the USA, INT, GER, AUS and several other local versions have always been the first to be released - I would expect within a week or two. Other of the 26 localized versions are released later... and they're just saying that they should have whichever language is lowest on the priority list delivered before September 30.

As I wrote privately, Martin - your posts have been showing that you're not reading and have been approaching spam. I've deleted exact duplicate posts. Please be a positive participant in these forums and try not to make the same complaint over and over. Once is good. We get it.

I assume you will be using either the INT, USA or French version... all of which will be released within a few weeks. Why is this "too late as an ArchiPlus subscriber"?

Cadimage has announced on their site that Objective, and other Encina add-ons (such as FrameWright) will be free upgrades for 17, but will be paid upgrades after that now that Cadimage has purchased Encina.

In that Cadimage announcement, they noted that if anyone hasn't heard from them about their licensed Encina add-ons, to contact them with your Encina license details so that they can be added to your Cadimage account for downloading the upgrade. Obviously, any previous Encina-only owners need to create an account at http://www.cadimage.com/login?url=/
for their licenses to get linked.

Karl,

Because I do love ArchiCAD, I become a radical user for it. In the firm where I am working, I am the only one using it. Since ArchiCAD 17 appears to be a great release for me, I am so focusing on the date of which I will be capable of downloading it so as to keep working on one of the best architectural softwares of the world...

Installed INT version of Archicad 17.
Where are "Export for BIMx" menu?
It's not on the file menu, neither an option in the "Save as..." dialog box.
Bug or?

This announcement thread is not the place for specific questions.... Please start a fresh thread per topic in the appropriate forum as usual for any questions everyone. 🙂

But, the answer in any case: it is not under Export any longer. From the 3D window, File > Save As and select the file type of BIMx. You'll probably want to check the box there for 'Start BIMx after save' to get the same behavior as 16 and earlier.

Click the Options button to review before clicking Save....

Very nice set of improvements across the board: Congratulations Graphisoft, & thanks to the beta testers.

Only fly in the ointment? Purchased BimX a few months ago for a specific project: Didn't get the time to use it....had I waited.......

(but glad that it is finally shipping as an integrated part of the AC package)
