I just copy all of the detail to the right (like an unlinked section - so rebuild won't bring back what I delete/etc). I confess, I've only used the Detail tool for half a dozen "real" details so far, so my experience is pretty minimal here!

I am sure that this R2C version operations around its own environment better. How does it perform when you ask it to open a file from a remote machine? How fast is it when you need to look for a picture to use in your drawings? This is where I am having my machine SLOW down.
Could it be that the server we have is still running OSX 10.2.8 and all the other machines are running 10.3.4?no - that's exactly the same setup as us.
Is there a difference between Onyx and Cocktail, besides a cost?i've never used this 'onyx' app, but you can give 'cocktail' a go without paying up front. if you do decide to try it: click the 'pilot' tab along the top, check everything except 'repair permissions' (i always prefer apple's apps to handle this even if they do get their permission information from the same file) and then hit the 'run' button. you may want to check in the options tab first if you don't want to lose safari's cache and favicons . . .
