Archicad 16 Bug Reporter

Anonymous
Not applicable
We have archicad 16 with a CodeMeter Hardware license key for a network but the software is very unstable and keeps going off bringing Bug reporter. Why is this so?

The problem is worse when you try opening two or more Archicad16 files at thesame time.

I doubt it is anything to do with the codemeter key.
Sounds more like low RAM.
What are your machine specs and operating system?
Best to add them to your profile signature so they are there whenever you post.
Answers often depend on your setup.

I don't recognise the video card - but it doesn't seem to have much memory - 500MB?
Have you checked to see if you have the latest drivers?
This can often be a cause of problems.

Also check you are using the latest hotfix for Archicad.

Is there anything in particular that causes the crashes - i.e. when viewing in 3D or when trying to edit a particular element?

I am not familiar with this machine but just having a quick look it seems a fairly low spec machine although it is suposed to be aimed at the professional workstation market?
But I am no expert on these things so maybe someone else can offer an opinion.

Sorry 500 GB is your hard drive.
Looking at the latest offering on the HP website it looks as if you either have a low powered video card or one that is integrated into the main board.
GS don't recommend those.
