On more complex projects I fall back on using Favorites to control the layers

In the layers option, there is 3 possibilities:
Organize by extension
Hide Xref layers
Show every layers
How do you create groups?
Wich "favorites" control the layers?

TRADE-TYPE-SPECIFIC for the specific layers
and TRADE-TYPE ________ NAME
for the title of the TRADE
for example all the layers for annotations/text start with A for architecture-ANNO for the abbreviation of the TRADE - and then a specific Type
A-ANNO ______________________________ ANNOTATIONS
A-ANNO | Ceiling
A-ANNO | Keynotes: Finishes
A-ANNO | Labels
A-MRK ____________________ MARKERS
A-MRK | Change
A-MRK | Change: Enlarged Plans
A-MRK | Details
etc.

When you open any list of items in ArchiCAD—layers, BMats, Surfaces, Composites, etc.—if you start typing the thing you are looking for, ArchiCAD will gray out items in the list without those letters and eventually jump to the item you want.
So if you have 1,000 layers (which you don't need, nor do you probably need 100 layers, but that's a different topic), and you need layer 837, which is wall_interior_squishy, select the layers in the info box and when you see the list (instantly) start typing... S Q U I... you'll jump to that layer (or profile or Surface or BMat...). PC or Mac, doesn't matter. Super fast way to jump down lists. I think we got this feature in maybe 14 or 15? Anyone remember.
There are differences between PC and Mac, but very few (docking!). And definitely nothing that is a deal breaker.

On Windows when you type it will jump on the list to the items that start with the characters you type. But there is no such search functionality on Windows. Would be nice though.

Few additional Tools would be helpful as well.
Where are the real ceilings? Ability to make the morph a beam or column? Or anything else for that matter.

Both Categories and Filter for View are Revit features, that's why I ask.
I would suggest that you start new threads for these wishes. Also create polls so people can vote for them. Also, make sure one wish is about a specific topic so people know what they wish for. If a wish topic contains several wishes, people may not wish for them as people reading it at Graphisoft will not know which of the several wishes people actually supported.

Just goes to show that the reason PC and MAC versions are slightly different is because PCs and MACs are slightly different, not because Graphisoft secretly loves one over the other.
