Back Saving

i have opened an ArchiCAD8.1 file in ArchiCAD10 and saved it. i now would like to open that file in ArchiCAD8.1 again. is there a way to backsave? retrofit? import? or otherwise???

Don't know any. You can save in AC9 only.
If you have AC9 open in it an resave in 8.1.
Otherwise try dwg, but you will have just lines.

It's possible, but you would need Archicad 9 to do it.

Each version of Archicad can usually save one version back. From AC10, you can save back to AC9. From AC9, you can save back to 8.1.
