Background Color & Printing

Hi all,
I know how to change background color from white (as default) to black (in Grid Options). In that, I use a white pen color. But When I print it out, the white pen color is not automatically converted to black, not like in AutoCAD.

Does any one know how to tweak this issue?

Many thanks for your input

use a penset to define your pen colours for display and a different penset for printing assigned to your drawings on the layouts.

or use a white background with a black pen and be kind to your eyes

Hi Xristina
could you please show me how to assign a penset to layouts for printing?
I tried but could not find it.
I know how to assign it to drafting and construction documentation but not the one you mentioned.
Many thanks for your help.
Cheers,

select the placed drawing on the layout and go into its settings. you can assign any penset you like to it.
if you've already got all the pen weights sorted in your display penset, then duplicate it, name it something like plot penset, change the colours you want to black and then use that to assign to your placed drawings... HTH

Autocad habbits -> bad!
Not reading the manual -> bad!
Drinking beer instead of going to school -> bad!

Go to layout!
Select the drawing(s)!
Ctrl+T!
