Hi, I am having problem trying to display my brick on edge window sill textures. I can use a brick surface texture that has no mortar joints in it but it’s not the color that I want to display.
I am using the aged natural brick texture for the walls and they display correctly. When I use that particular texture for brick on edge window sills, I get the mortar joints showing horizontally that I do not want to show. I am only using a single length brick so I don’t need to show horizontal mortar joints only vertical ones.
How can I edit the aged natural brick texture so that it becomes a surface only with no mortar joints ? Is that possible or do I need to find another aged natural surface brick texture with no mortar joints in it ? What are others doling to solve this problem ?

Not sure if this is of any use.
It isn't quite the same as the aged brickwork, but it is a variegated darker brick in stack-bond.
Something I made for the same purpose.
I left the mortar joint at the end of the brick, just so you can't have an impossible long brick.
This images is designed to be 1029mm x 240mm.

Thanks @Barry Kelly, that might come in handy.
I had a search online at PGH bricks and downloaded a full catalog of 3D brick walls made in an older version of Archicad. Was also free and I opened it up in AC27 and it also had stack bond walls in them too. I got the catalog for QLD but there are more for the other states as well. An excellent resource for anyone who is interested.

Another good texture resource is the Textures website (formerly cgtextures). I used to to use them quite a bit as you can download a couple of free textures per day with a free account. It's been awhile though, so not sure if that is still but maybe you could find something useful there as well.

Hi all, I was able to find another old brick texture from SU club website that had a soldiers course pattern at the bottom of it. I edited it in a free Mac photo editing app and used it instead. Turned out ok.
Thank for the tips above.
Extra Info: I just cropped a picture of the “Aged Natural” brick surface in AC down to a single brick with mortar on one side. Worked ok but you need to have a variation of bricks to make it look more realistic. If the aged natural brick in AC came with a stack bond image it would work correctly.
