Buglist v9

Ive found a few bugs bugs in v9.
as follows:

ArchiCad:

-Length-unit of interactive schedule is still decided by Working Units & Levels, not dimensions like it should. I like many draw in meters and dimension in millimeters

-It is still not possible to set <L2value> autotext to plan cote marker, you have to mark the text of the dimension on every single one of the dimensions and to set <L2value>

-It is still not possible to turn off <L2name> in the dimension settings dialog for section\elevation cote dimensioning tool. You have to mark the text of the dimension and manually remove the <L2name> bit of the autotext.

PlotMaker:

-I think it is horrible that plotmaker, after so many years still cant handle marquee editing, and and ctrl + click to trim/extend lines. Polygon editing is also bad.

-Autotext for drawing scale doesnt work.

-Cant zoom while performing a drag command on pictures\drawings.

Wishes:

-Dimensioning of 3d-front view in ineractive schedules.
-Linking of interactive schedules to exel, that can update text and front\planview for better looking forms.
-Creating of hole with depht in mesh.
-Possibillity to import all attributes to å object without changing its physical size or position.
-In general AC 9 is a good improvement but AC still needs to go back and tighten up the interface (or interflux as it were). There is a lack of consistency which is irritating. For example, slabs can only have a lineweight set for every view whilst walls have different choices for elevation/sections and 3D views. And beams let you choose every surface finish independently .. but, walls don't. And last I checked most architects spend a lot more time fussing about wall finishes than beam finishes.
-Keystroke commands still differ from AC in some instances (like wacking the option key to make a copy!!)

I have just tried out the program for a couple of hours, and will edit inn more bugs as i find them. It is also nice if other user report here, and i will edit in as it goes

Moderator feel free to move this topic. Didnt find a apropriate place to put it.

Here is a little explanation concerning this matter,

The <Drawingscale> and <Outputscale> are not usable in the case of layouts. They are usable only in the case of PMKs (also if a PLN is imported into PM) because it only refers to the respective drawing. There can be several drawing placed on a layout. So the fact that these autotexts are there in the stamp can be considered a bug.

This has been an issue since plotmaker 3.

Cheers.

You can select a drawing from the layout and set as autotext reference, at least you could in v3 only you had to do this for everey single layout, you cant select the drawings you want from drawing usage and set as autotext reference, becasue the autotext comes with an unique id for each drawing. this doesnt work in 9

I think this would be very easy to solve for GS ... oh like about an hours worth of effort from a programmer ...
