Anonymous
Not applicable
IF I HAVE A MESH, OR SLAB, OR ANY MASS, AND I USE ANOTHER OBJECT TO HIDE PART OF THE FIRST, CAN I COLOR OR FILL THAT CUT OFF AREA WITH ANOTHER THAN WHAT THE MAIN OBJECT IS.....CONFUSED?

IF I HAVE A HILL I HAVE MODELED FROM A MESH AND WANT TO LOP OF THE TOP WITH A FLAT PAD SITE, CAN I COLOR THAT FLAT PART DIFFERENT THAN SAY THE GREEN SIDES OF THE HILL?

AND HIDE, NOT DELETE, THE OBJECT THAT IS MASKING OR CROPPING OFF THE TOP OF THE HILL.

THANKS

If you are doing a Solid Element Operation then you have the choice to keep your target's material or to inherit the operators material.
Make sure your slab surface is set to the material that you want and then choose the inherit option.
