License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Can't Select Without Dragging

Anonymous
Not applicable
A new thing is happening and it's making life miserable - I can't select anything without my selection moving/ dragging. I have to select, then hit escape once to avoid automatically dragging my selection.
I have a Macbook Pro and a Mac, it's happening on both.
Anybody have a fix? Driving me NUTS! Thanks!

In the "Input Constraints and Guides" page of the Work Environment Dialog, which option is the "Line Drawing" field set to?
I am wondering if it is set to "Mac Classic-like" and that is causing this phenomenon.
You should try setting it to the "CAD-like" option then.

So it is not the reason then.
I hope someone here may have another idea of what could be causing it.

I think I may have figured it out - I use a Magic Mouse and Better Touch Tool so that I can pan by holding down the middle "wheel." I found a suggestion on a Better Touch forum and it seems to be working ok now. Here's the link:

Glad you sorted it out.
So it is a Mac and hardware-specific thing.

Indeed. Maybe I'll put in a request on the wish list for Magic Mouse middle wheel pan function so nobody will need 3rd party apps to make it work. I love my Magic Mouse.
