Can't edit irregular windows

Hy everyone !
I'm having a problem editing irregular windows like trapezoidal or pentagonal ones because the hotpoint ( purple diamond) dont appear not allowing me to move and shape the window the way i like. The strange thing is that i did the tutorial and there the hotpoint appeared but when working in a separate file it doesn't appear.

Can you provide more information please, like Archicad version, OS, actual window name (Door and Window Builder or standard AC windows?) etc.
