Our engineering drawing require 2D/3D details, structural components, Energy,simulations, optimization, data,etc,etc
Tho I do like your basic sketch presentation but IMO it lacks real data that client can understand
Here is a std detail..it is the 20% that cant be done in AC that is of major concern!

(Data-sim-etrics).
I also have the details in Vws, Revit, Multiphysics, Maplesim & Matlab.. and use (2D->7D?) whatever it takes to put the deal on the table.... HTH
