Graphic Card Test

Hi I found this test here on the official archicad site:
http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/technotes/video-cards/recommended-video-cards-for-archicad-18/

It's a PLA file, that I extracted into a folder.

Now the question is I want to test my graphic cards, but can not fint any steps or instructions how to do it. Can someone please help me step by step?

I have extracted the libs into a folder and I got a message that test.pdf is missing. I selected to read from the extracted folder, just to pass that. But there is no test.pdf file.

I'm using Archicad 18 ofc.

So how do I test this? Where are the steps or guide? Thanks for help !

When you open that Test PLA file, it says right there:

Go to the View Map and activate the views one by one, then in each View do what you see written there. That's all.

So no real scores (numbers) to compare different GPUs with.

Please refrain from using curse words in your posts, even if they are Hungarian. I have deleted from your post the one you wrote.

The Graphic Card Test is aimed at helping you see if your graphics card functions properly in ARCHICAD, if it displays things properly, if it does not give strange display results, etc.
It is not aimed at measuring performance.

I understand, I am in a Bad mood because I have 15days and 10 cards for testing with archicad and there is no way to figure it out, which is
faster/money in Archicad.

The same is on for years. I thought there are some changes this time, when I saw the published test.

The site says: "GraphicsCardTest SpeedTest"
speed test is for what?

This model works the same on a 100$ gpu and 1000$ gpu for me.

So there is no way to figure out the prize/performance value for GPUs in archicad ??

I just noticed that these are two files.
Click the link "Speed Test" to download the Speed Test file.
It will tell you what to do in the Views.

Just out of curiosity I did the tests myself and in 2D I got 30-40 FPS.
However, in 3D, I did not get a result displayed in the upper left corner no matter how many times I tried.
Could you verify that the same thing is happening to you?
In that case I will have to report this problem to Graphisoft.

So I did test it with gtx 770, I used fraps to watch the FPS
They vary too much depending on the distance and speed of moving things. Let's say it was 30-40 for me, but I would say its 20-50.

The range and changing factors are too big to determine anything measurable. Subjectivly with human eye.

In the 3D window, with the whole house paning fast left-right-up-down I get the same 30-40 depending on distance to the object and numbers of polys to draw. The front glass windows gives me closer to 30fps, the whole house 35.

But here is something I was doing before:
I was drawing a Roof on a concert hall, here is the gpu usage:

I see no difference in the use of any of the card. So there is no quaranty that a fast card will bring me improvements.

The system is not even trying hard. When I loop a opengl file in C4D the GPU usage is 100% and it uses OpenGL like Archicad I think.[/img]
