Complex Profile: Thick Core Line Overridden/Cut Off at Window Junction

Hi everyone,

I am having a frustrating pen hierarchy issue with a Complex Profile wall on the Floor plan view, specifically where it meets a window frame.

As you can clearly see in the attached screenshot, I am using a thick blue pen (Pen 7) for my Core material contours. The outer finish and insulation layers have a thin cyan pen (Pen 85).

However, on the left side where the wall terminates at the window junction, the thick blue core line abruptly stops. Instead of showing a proper thick cut end line, the thin cyan pen (Pen 85) wraps around the core or completely overrides it. I want that blue core contour to remain thick and continuous up to the window frame.

To solve this, I have already verified the following settings:

  1. Building Material Priorities: The Core material priority is 700 (strong), and the Finish/Insulation is 300 (weak).

  2. Wall Settings: Under Floor Plan and Section, "Override Cut Fill Pens" is set to "None" to respect the profile's native pens.

  3. Profile Manager: I have explicitly enabled "Show Cut End Lines" inside the Profile Manager and set it to the thick blue pen, but it is still being ignored at the window connection.

Any help or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Did you look at these settings in the composite menu - the wall end line pen? I made a mockup of the correlation lines (red and magenta). It shows correctly with a window opening too.

edit: I only now saw you're using complex profiles, not composites. That would be my first workaround - to try and use composite walls for the task.
