Speaking of consistency...
Linear dimensions and angle dimensions that have their text placed between the dimension lines act differently. If you move the text of the angle dimension, the 'hole' in the dimesion line moves with it (just like it should). However, if you move the text of a linear dimension, the 'hole' stays where it is, completely ignoring the location of the text.
