Corner Wall intersection.

Hi guys, traditionally when faced with an intersection like this I have applied a small fill over top... Can anyone recommend an improved way of dealing with this corner join?

(Picture shows an internal wall joining a cavity wall on the corner).

Im thinking perhaps the wallend tool might be usefull in a case like this?

Changing it to the right or left will just flip the wall.
Try using the section over on the right hand side and you can offset "to the outer side of wall" without flipping it.
Or you can set the reference line to any location you want.

Maybe this will help?

My point is that you can spend a lot of time trying to get this intersection to look right. If you spend 10 seconds on it and you can't get it right ... use the patch and move on! It has absolutely no effect on the model.
There are several issues which make the patch tool less than desirable from my perspective. The first issue is as the design develops I have almost never seen a section of the plan that remains constant through the life of a project. Of course a new patch can be made, but this is one more thing that the user needs to remember to do, and personally I usually find these "errors" after output. My other issue with the patch tool is how one needs to edit it to have it read correctly. Opening the patch as a library part is anything but intuitive for most users. In addition the multitude of fills and lines which all overlap makes selecting and editing what you need to edit much more difficult than it seems like it should be. If there are any issues that graphisoft should make its #1 priority I feel this wall intersection combined with proper control of problematic section elevation views (extra lines or missing lines) should take the front seat. Wouldn't it be ideal it we had something like the patch tool where we could marquee an area, click on an extraneous line, and "say" in this intersection don't show this line. This seems like such a fundamental issue that has been a problem for as long as I have used this software, and in that time vary little has been done to rectify the problem.

If patches are just GDL 'stickers' that can only be edited with the GDL editor, what does this quote from the Create Patch section of the online Help mean?
Note: Objects created this way will be enhanced with parametric behavior, specified by a special template in the ArchiCAD Library.
In my experience, this parametric behavior doesn't really exist.
