Corner Wall intersection.

Hi guys, traditionally when faced with an intersection like this I have applied a small fill over top... Can anyone recommend an improved way of dealing with this corner join?

(Picture shows an internal wall joining a cavity wall on the corner).

Im thinking perhaps the wallend tool might be usefull in a case like this?

I would use the Patch tool; do it once and its a library part available for every instance of this condition.

Can you get away with simply turning the wall end off?

What wall ends you say? Wall Settings dialog.

The woodster is a Patch Tool advocate... one of the most under-used misunderstood tools in the arsenal. For example, it's great for details and as library parts they are easily organised and present the user with a preview when looking for them.

It's fast and efficient!

Considering the software doesnt "fix up" those intersections it comes in bloody handy...

The only other solution I have discovered is to create an upside down composite... when you do that, it will clean up those intersection (however it becomes weird placing the wall as the reference side will now be on the wrong side)....

I wish there was a feature to "Flip" the wall... So the wall stays in the same place, but the reference side moves.....

I would hate to consider the results that such a feature would create... but it woudl be interesting, considering V9 already cleans up wall that touch the inside of a composite without taking it all the way through to the reference side...

I don't want to appear like I am passing you a shovel to dig that hole any deeper Woody, but are you going to try and convince us that fragments are our best friend too?

I must admit, I am surprised! What appeals to you most Woody? Is there something we don't know?

Maybe you convert me from a masker to a patcher?

Cheers,
