Crashing while opening, changing or reloading elevations

My Archicad keeps on crashing when I open and load or load a layout with an elevation on it. It believe it has something to do with Surface fills being used.

To be honest I am really sick of this type of stuff happening with Archicad. It is the same bugs showing up again and again, the development team is wasting time on adding things that nobody asked for like Stupid AI rendering instead of fixing the things we need fixed. 

You can be good at one thing or average at many, you cant have both

Have you sent the bug report off, taken note of the report number and then contacted your local support so they can investigate the problem?

Otherwise all I can suggest is to try and isolate the problem.

Do other elevations work OK?

If you change the surfaces does that help?

Does the model appear in 3D OK?

Is it just this one file?
