Creating Objects

I am trying to create a new object in ArchiCAD and I have a book that is telling me to select "object development" under my navigator window. I cannot find object development anywhere. Can someone please tell me how to find it or how to change my navigator display to show it?

Your book probably refers to a template file developed by the author.

Please give your version of AC, platform, and title/author of the book.

There is a free getting started book by David Nicholson-Cole called Object Making with ArchiCAD, available as a PDF - but I cannot seem to find the link ...maybe someone else can post it?

Also, another great resource (by same author), the GDL cookbook:

Cookbook 4 (the latest) can be downloaded from ACE by the way.

Thanks, guys. I copied your posts/links to a new sticky entry in the References forum here:

Very kind of David to make even the Cookbook available for download.

Cheers,
