Creating multiple views of the same storey

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi everyone, I need to create different plan views of the same building storey with different cutting plane heights, for example:

1) second storey plan view with cutting plane below windows;

2) second storey plan view with cutting plane across windows;

3) second storey plan view with cutting plane above windows.

Is there a way to create this simply using saved views?

Thanks!

Hi Enrico,

Yes, if you have already saved the 3 views from the same story, you can set their cut planes one-by-one.
To achieve this, open the View Settings dialog. Under 2D/3D Documents tab click on the button to reach the Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings dialog. This setting will refer to the edited view only.

Enrico:

In addition to Katalin's advice, you will need to change the Walls' Floor Plan Display from Symbolic to Cut Only.

Also, is your signature up to date, are you on version 12?
