Custom Curved Roof

Hi,
I'm a student using Archicad for a graphics assignment.
My building however has an irregular roof. From plan it's rectangular (10m width, 30m length)

I will attach a cross-section of the roof (an approximation of), showing the width asap.
I've tried the custom profile manager but wasn't sure how to transfer that to a roof (ie I couldn't use trim to roof tool).

Cheers

Use the custom profile to create your roof but place it with either the wall or beam tool.
Unfortunately there are no custom profiles allowed in the roof tool.

The only thing you will need to watch is the priority strength of the wall/beam roof.
This roof will interact with all other walls and trim automatically just as regular walls and beams do.
So make sure the wall/beam roof has a higher strength than you regular walls and use Solid Element Operations to subtract with upward extrusion to remove the regular walls above your custom roof.

cheers,
I will try that but first, I just got a new laptop and hence downloaded Archicad 14. The only thing is that when I make my walls etc, the length dialogue box doesn't appear as I drag the wall (and hence allowing me to type in the length required) as it did in Archicad 13... how do I get this back...?
