Guides and wall lengths

I got a new laptop, and thus I upgraded to Archicad 14.
The main problem here is that now when I try to make walls, the dialogue box that would pop up near the cursor doesn't appear. By this, I mean the box which shows how long you are making the wall etc... where you can type in the length you want etc...

Go to Work Environment > User Preference Schemes > Tracker and Coordinate Input and check "Show Tracker".

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

After following David's advice you will want to Redefine your W.E. or the next time you open AC you might have to turn tracker back on again.
