Disappearing beams

We are modelling a gable roof, the structure is made from beams, the insulation is made from roof. The material of the beam is higher priority than the material of the insulation. Some of the beams don't cut out the insulaion, but if we move them to the side than again to their place they appear again. Some of the beam when placed again disappears, some of them when other beams are moved appear and then disappear. It looks like a bug, and we need to use fills to make the section. We tried to change the materials, the priority of the layers and the junction orders, but beams stayed the same.

Display order may work - bring forward / send back.

Roofs and beams do not automatically trim each other.

You must perform a right click Connect > Merge operation.

Then strongest building material will cut weakest.
