Distribute Tool Grayed Out Unavailable

This may seem like a simple question, but does anyone have any idea why my distribute tool is grayed out when I select an object? I cannot get the tool to activate no matter what I do. Am I missing something?

It is not like the 'Multiply' tool that can generate extra copies.

It works only on what is selected, so you need at least 2 items selected to be able to distribute (spread) them.

Of course, thank you! This is what happens when I am constantly switching between Rhino and Archicad. 🙃
