Symbolic Cut Grayed Out

Hello -

Sometimes, when I try to set walls to Symbolic Cut, the option is grayed out and unavailable.

What controls this, and how can I get the option back?

Hi Bill,

The symbolic cut option is greyed out when you have either 'All Relevant Stories' instead of 'Home Storey Only' selected, and also if you are using a slanted, double slanted or complex profiled wall rather than a normal vertical wall.

The 'symbolic cut' can only be displayed on a vertical wall as the shape of the other walls could vary depending on where the Floor Plan Cut Plane cuts through them.
