Hi,
I've tried to create a Custom Door/Window Handle, but it's not showing up at the door/window leaf options.
Custom handle is grayed out.
I saved it as a Custom Handle and it is in the Embedded Library as a Handle.
By opening the objects it also looks fine, it is set as a custom handle.
I've tried saving it different ways from floorplan, 3D view, using slabs, beams, morph,
using different versions of archicad... (we have austrian 24 and 27 and international 27)
in a new empty project file.
Still no luck.
Always grayed out.
Am I missing something?
(Other similar things like a saving a custom door leaf works properly)
Thank you!

Same problem here - custom handle can be selected but text box for macro name is disabled.
Frustrating...

As in you cannot select the Custom option on the Handle tab? Or that the Custon Handle Name list is not populating?

It was about the class of the macro.
The dropdown menu got populated after correcting the class of the macro from general object to custom handle.

When you save the elements as a handle object, did you just save as an object, or did you save as a handle.
Saving as a handle should automatically create the correct sub-type for the object and add it to the list of custom objects available in other objects that can use it.
