Dome building

I am trying to model a dome building in AC14 but am having difficulty with placing windows.

I have had some success as shown in the attachment using a custom profile wall and freeform window. This method was quite tedious.

I need to do energy modelling for this building but ecodesigner doesn't support custom profile walls.

This building could be easily modelled using a dome roof but I am unable to place the freeform window in a roof.

My GDL programming is limited but I can created objects from 3d and add some properties.

Could I convert a window to a skylight object ?

Could I change the freeform window script to allow it to be placed as an object or better yet a skylight?

Thanks for any help

It would be a pain, but you could do each segment as a slanted wall. It'd be a lot of little stacked walls. but once you got it started you could copy and rotate it around.

I have tried that but the slanted wall has horizontal surfaces top and bottom so the segments don't fit.

I think I am going to give up on ecodesigner and export gbXML to model in EnergyPlus.
