Dragging a Copy / Profile Offset Modifiers

Hi all,

When dragging a copy of a wall, or the like, is there a way to clone the exact profile offset modifiers as well? At the moment, it resets all the values to default. I'm pretty sure I've been doing it for a long time, but only recently it seems to have changed. Either that, or I've never even noticed.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

You mean dragging a copy of the wall in the model (plan or 3D)?
If so that should give you an exact copy of the wall - modifier settings and all.
Nothing should change or reset.

Only when changing the profile to a different one will the modifiers reset to default values.

At least that is what I am experiencing.

Dragging a wall on plan view and nothing more

Seems like the issue happens only on certain walls. I have no idea what is causing the issue. Some walls it'll reset, some it'll keep.

Any ideas what could trigger this?

No sorry.
I haven't had any trouble so far.

Ugh, this isn't ideal. It's probably because there's a few different skins on the complex profiles. I think it's a model problem, and not a works environment one. Hopefully it doesn't come back to haunt me too much down the road..

Thanks for the response
