Enhancing Archicad for Heritage Projects and Point Clouds

I have recently started working with Archicad on heritage projects and found it to be a dynamic tool, well-suited to this type of work. However, I believe the software could benefit from additional features specifically tailored to heritage preservation and point cloud processing. Even simple enhancements would enrich Archicad's capacity to address the unique challenges associated with heritage projects, offering a more focused approach to these specialized areas.

As a regular user, the release of a new version of Archicad surprises me with gratitude because it always brings improvements in productivity. Although I think there is still much to be done to strengthen the Scan to BIM process. Plugins such as Cloutool, BIMm-Tool improve the workflow with point clouds, but Architectural and Archaeological Heritage requires the semantic segmentation of the data captured by scanning (TLS) or photogrammetric equipment, as well as the management of the intrinsic data of the element being auscultated and analyzed. In this way, it would be easier to manage an H-BIM project. However, two important contributions must be included immediately in Archicad, without the need for additional plugins, such as the creation of orthometric visits (to scale) to include them in the plan, without the need to generate images previously; and being able to view and manage Point Clouds in a powerful viewer within the Graphisoft environment. I think this aspect should be implemented in the BIMx software.
A cordial greeting to all.
