I've found that the old timer experts on this forum or even experts with YouTube tutorials often donāt use these simple baked in methods of extending walls or drawing any item at an exact or relative location by using the x, y, or d or even a shortcuts.
I still see seasoned veterans drawing a line a certain distance then dragging a wall to snap to the end of that line and then deleting the unnecessary line.
Way to much work and less accurate. I only assume they learned these bad habits from a time when Archicad didnāt have these other more efficient methods.
Because Iām an absolute rookie and actually went through the beginner and intermediate courses on Archicadās YouTube channel I learnt these good habits...but Iām still struggling with more advanced and seemingly endless features of this software.
