Fail to do this to my custom stair

I am having difficulty to cut wall off my custom stairs using 'Edit Targets and Operators', i tried the standard ones in the archicad library, they works fine but just doesnt work with my custom stair. Anyone knows what i can do?

Some objects are not solid bodies, and so don't work with SEOs. You may need to use a slab for the operation, then hide the slab's layer.
