Fill or Pattern Line in Archicad

Hello there.

I am slowly moving from Allplan to ArchiCad (13)and I have to say that I am quite impressed with ArchiCad. I have one question (one for today). How does one draw a fill/pattern line? IE: red application boundary.

Many thanks

With a fill selected, you can simply draw another fill inside the selected one and it will create a hole.

Or you can use the 'Subtract from Polygon' pet palette option. Just click on the edge of the fill to make this appear. Either way, your current geometry method will determine the shape of the subtracted part, so check it in your Info Box.

Unless you magic wand of course.

Cheers,
