Floor finish in door way.

Hi, I'm trying to run floor finish into anther in a door way. The floor finish doesn't show up. Can any one help please. I want to show the timber in the door way with transition strip to the carpet. See screen shot.

Sure, we all hope for that.

Even tried to solve it by the threshold option in the door settings but couldn’t achieve it.

Personally, I just model the flooring as slabs.  Pretty easy to place.  Spacebar -Click, adjust nodes at the door.  I like most of the flooring transition to be centered below the door panel.  Perhaps it's one of those things that is faster to model than configure some object for?   Also, I think there is still some room for Xref's for common/standard details like Flooring Transition Details that can save a lot of time for the documentation part of it.
