Please refer to attached file. In a kitchen wall, using solid operations I have subtracted an opening and then, in the opening, used the wall tool to draw a profile of a rolling counter shutter and serving shelf (could not find a BIM object on-line) that I created as a profile. The shutter shows perfectly in the section shown in the attached file, as well as in 3D and in elevation.
The shelf is at 3'-5". I have set the floor plan cut plane at 4' as shown in the image but cannot see in plan the shutter. Assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Why you use a Solid Element Operation instead of a regular opening?
Is a complex shape or something? If not try doing the opening with a regular opening and check if that works. And also you could try doing a custom window of the shutter, that might work.
I really don't know why is not showing.
Solid Element Operations do no show in plan.
Try using an empty window opening to cut the hole in the wall instead.

I merged the duplicate posts but it seems you have the same answer from both.
