Floor plan view beam

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello, I would like to know how to show the entire contour of my beams. I have use them to reproduce the roff ridge (corniche) of an old school from the 40's. That corniche has gables. I would like to see lines in floor plan view where my beams are in an angle to create the gables. For now, I only saw two parallel lines all around my building.

Tank you for your help

If you are using AC23 or later, go into your beams settings and change the Uncut Projection Mode to Projected.

Ling.

ps. You should add your AC version together with some computer and system specs to your profile signature as some issues / problems are version / OS specific.

The beam ends will join seamlessly.
There was a similar post just a while ago with a solution but it may not be what you want.

Beams also now have cover fills - but that may not work for you either.

But I just remembered this new setting.
Give this a try.

If your beams are above the Floor Plan Cutting Plane set the 'overhead' to projected.
If your beams are below the Floor Plan Cutting Plane set the 'uncut' to projected.

I will post this answer in the other post as well.
