? Get guidelines to appear when hovering over a snap-point ?

In AC12 (my last version I used), this was working fine.

In AC16, I can't get guide lines to appear when hovering over a snap point. They appear when I'm in the middle of an operation and I click down (say, using the polygonal method for a fill), but not when I hover.

I've played around with options, but to no avail.

The following options (see image) don't work.

Am I missing something.... Is it a fault... or is it "By Design"?

The method for using guidelines changed in 15.
You now have to activate with the keyboard shortcut and then select the guide you want.
It is possible while in the process of drawing to click-hold and drag the mouse to select a guide line also.
Best to read the manual or check out the youtube movies.

Here is an old post that may help a bit.

Thanks Barry -- I just read that post, and realised that the shortcut key is the [ ` ] (or tilde) key, not the [ ' ] key, as I had assumed. Yep, I'm happy now -- the right key solves everything!
