Hi, in my view map I am using text with opaque background and have set it to white, but on a sheet it comes out grey, as shown in the images. Any advice on how I can just have a white background on the sheet as well would be great.

Is the pen set in the working view the same as your sheet / saved view?

In your Work Environment>User Preferences>On screen Preferences> there is a setting for "Automatic Pen Color Adjustment". This is an on-screen option for items of the same color to show differently on the screen, but does NOT print. It makes working easier. So, as in your example white on white the text background shows slightly grayed for visual feedback.

Thakyou Erica and Boyd, I did find that the working view and the sheet view had different pen sets.
