Grouping lines, etc. to drawings in layouts. Can it be done?

Can't find an answer.... Is it possible to group lines, circles, text, etc. to drawings in a layout?

On September 20th I received the following from GS US tech support.

"This is a bug that was introduced in the 966 patch. Initially, it seemed that it was the combination of OSX.3.9 and this latest patch since my coworker (OSX.4.7 and myself - Mactel - OSX.4.7) are able to create multi-pg pdfs. But I do have some users (one or two) that cannot create multi-pg pdfs even with this later OS. I am not sure that upgrading your OS would correct this problem.

R&D is aware of this and hopefully it will be fixed in the next hotfix. You could reinstall Build 815. The bug is not in there."

So, upgrading the OS may not fix the problem.

It didn't. The hotfixes took care of the grouping bug and the "sill to floor" bug. Lost the ability for Multipage PDF's, but things do seem to go much faster.

How about now Marc?

Hopefully, they've fixed it, even though it's not listed in the Bug Fix List.

Published pdfs are still zero k and multi-page printed pdfs save only the last page. I guess Bob's not my Uncle?

Hello,
After inquiring again about the issue of not being able
to create multi-page PDFs, I received the following yesterday
from GS US tech support.

"This has been fixed and will be included in the next patch release. I do not have any exact information on when it will be released but heard
sometime in mid Jan."

Thank you,
Peter Devlin

Not sure why.... but I have multi-page, pdf functionality again. I did an automatic, Mac OS software update a few months back and Java was updated.... It must have been the cause??? Read here.
