im trying to get 1-50 sections completed so they look similar to my 1-5 details. Ive been attempting to use hatch fills to create things like timber battens etc on the 1-50. Im finding that sometimes these hatch fills cover the building elements, other times they seem to fall 'behind'. Im struggling to understand why.
take this series of images as an example.
1- I have a floor intersection that consists of a floor compoisite of 22mm chipboard on joists with insulation.
2- I can cover the beams with a region fill.
3- im then trying to place a wall plate using a region fill- all seems fine.
4- im now trying to cover the wee bit of wall above the wall plate, which is where im getting into issues. The hatch covers the wall, but seems to go 'behind' the floor leaving a thick black line.
ive tried to explore this to find that whilst the hatch covers the walls, it or no other hatch is covering the floor. Ive explored if this is happening to other floors and it is not, so I suspect its something to do with the insulation/ floor build up.
ive looked at changing the priority of the floor/ insulation, and even tried creating a material call 'hatch' which matches the hatch fill region. Ive also played around with changing the hatch to 'drafting.. or 'cut' or 'cover etc to no avail. Any help will be most welcome.

Hi,
If I understood your issue correctly - you have to bring the fill ( or hatch) to the top of the drawing - this is done with editing the Display Order
There are 14 "layers" of overlapping. You can enable the Arrange Elements Toolbar (from window menu, toolbars). And see if you can bring your 2D fills so they are topmost elements in your view.

Hope this helps.
