Hotfix Failure

I've just installed Hotfix 2172, in the hope that it might help the 'rotating arcs' problem.

Now I can't restart Archicad at all. I get this message:

'The application 'Archicad' could not be launched because of a shared library error:
"I<Archicad><Archicad>VBAttributesLib><DisposeMaterialSet__Q26VBAttr11MaterialSetFP126VBAttr11MaterialSet>"

Can anyone advise how I can resolve this?

Your best bet when installing a service pack is to re-install Archicad then install the service pack on top of the clean installation.

I've seen this error with every service pack that's come out for Archicad 9, and a clean "service pack on factory installation" works every time.

Thanks for that. Reinstalling Archicad 9 got us up and running again. However when I try to install the hotfix on top of this, the same problem occurs.

Is this because I chose the 'repair' option when reinstalling Archicad 9. Would it be better to uninstall the previous configuration and then install from scratch?

Probably.

Yes, you should do a complete re-install from scratch.
