Hotfix for ArchiCAD 10 is available

Dear Talkers,

It's time to visit the Help menu / Check for updates command to get the latest Hotfix for ArchiCAD 10 (build 966). Please check out the Release Notes for a fixed bug list.

The patch applies to both Education and full licences of ArchiCAD 10. The patch also updates goodies installed in the ArchiCAD folder

Where's the hotfix for ANY kind of Mac anyway? I got this screenshot when I tried to find and download the update.

edit: never mind found it............. was this here over the weekend or just my poor powers of observation?

Hi Marin, the USA link is still working fine, couldn't say about the INT.

Thanks, found it right after posting, of course.........I am a little ginchy about installation after following along this thread. Haven't pulled the trigger just yet, maybe at the end of the day and some more work completed.

Stuart, any more word from your reseller?

No more word yet. It may be that they (CadImage) are trying to sort things out with their tools, which are widely distributed here in NZ with the standard installation. It sounds like there are a few issues with various tools doing weird things. So I may have jumped the gun a bit with my advice not to update. Maybe someone from CadImage could clear that up here?

STRANGE.. When I run it - it can't find my installation of ArchiCAD. Then when I browse for ArchiCAD 10 - the dialog box won't allow me to select the greyed out application.

I have tried it both ways - with ArchiCAD running and not.

have you renamed the folder or application to anything other than its defaults:

./Applications/Graphisoft/ArchiCAD 10/ArchiCAD.app (the ".app" bit is usually hidden by the finder)

Then when I browse for ArchiCAD 10 - the dialog box won't allow me to select the greyed out application.

. . . when you search for it you only need to click the 'choose' button when you've selected the archiCAD 10 folder . . .

make sure archicad is not running!

The INT Hotfix (966) is available again. 999 was just a mistype.
