How can I make a DWG drawing of a wall in elevation.

Is it possible to copy a wall, then make it into a 2D elevation drawing and save it as a DWG file. I need this format to lazer cut the wall.

Deb,

There are multiple ways of elevating a wall but the easiest would be to us the Internal elevation tool. You don't have to make a copy of the wall as you can do this in the original model.

You will find it in the Menu Document>Documenting Tools>Interior Elevation.

It will create an elevation of each wall in essentially a 2D Format. From there you can edit it or change how you like save it as a saved view, Drop it of drawing sheet and convert it to a DWG.
