License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

How can I model this using the shell tool?

I need a roof, barrel shaped, curved aling its horizontal axis and slanted along its long axis.

I created this shape using a wall profile, but I cannot elevate one end (even using Objective).

I know we can elevate shells, but I cannot get a horizontal curve.

Any thoughts or ideas will be of immense help.

Thanks.

Hi Barry,

Thanks for your help and demo. It works like a charm.

Single curved profile rotated shell that was free rotated in 3D.
Doesn't a simple rotation also tilt the profile as it turns about the curve? The attached image shows 2 different methods (view end of at the end of the curve). The lower object was created with a simple free rotation - the profile is level at the start, but is progressively tilted as it turns through the curve.
